英文摘要Although terrestrial communication is significantly developed, it is still difficult to realize global communication with blind regions, such as in ocean and desert. However, the satellite communication has the ability to achieve the full coverage on global communication, which mainly consists of satellite, ground station and user terminal. In this paper, we focused on the design, realization and test of terminal RRC subsystem in the satellite communication system. The second chapter discusses the functions of RRC subsystem including RRC connection management, RB connection management, cell update, security mode, and other functions, in which cell update and security model were given prominence. The second chapter illustrates each function of RRC in detail, such as the signaling interaction diagram between MES and GERAN. Moreover, this chapter also demonstrates each RRC state in detail, including the resources and functions in each RRC state and RRC conversion between various RRC states. The third chapter discusses the design of RRC subsystem, involving architecture design, state machine design, queue design for communications between up and down layers and function design. Besides, the third chapter highlights the focus and innovation of this paper, that is, state machine design, cell update and security model. Furthermore, this paper explores the cell update process under four different settings. The fourth chapter discusses the realization of RRC subsystem via providing flowcharts to realize each function and some core codes. Besides, the fourth chapter describes the testing process of RRC subsystem, including unit test, integration test and system test, which provides clear test objectives, detailed test cases and test results. This paper discusses the design, realization and test of RRC subsystem, which provides a full picture of a complete RRC subsystem.
