| 英文摘要 | The role of Special Operations Forces (SOF) in the global war on terrorism has changed dramatically since Desert Storm. Not only has funding been increased but support in Congress and within the Department of Defense (DoD) for the Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and Special Ops has skyrocketed especially since the success of SOF/Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) partnership in Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). This paper will explore the environment leading up to this change how SOF has used and provided intelligence in the last two major conflicts and whether that support has kept up with the demands of SOF’s new roles. |
