| 英文摘要 | This report details research performed in the area of air-to-surface, precision strike weapons. The open literature has been reviewed and documents that relay information on precision weapons used in military operations over the last 20+ years have been studied. The points considered during this research include; intelligence support and operations planning; time critical targeting (mobile and relocatable); effects of weather and countermeasures; weapon use and effectiveness analysis; timely combat assessment; and the relevance to the ADF. These are discussed in relation to the lessons learnt from three of the military operations fought in the last half-century. Namely, Operations Desert Shield/ Storm, Allied Force and Enduring Freedom. |
