中文摘要	江西贵溪地区的晚白垩世圭峰群塘边组以紫红色细粒碎屑岩为主,通过对采自贵溪剖面16个细粒砂岩样品的主、微量元素地球化学分析,可以为认识赣东北地区晚白垩世陆相红层的物源区构造背景、古气候条件提供重要证据.该砂岩样品的地球化学分析结果表明,物源区构造背景为被动大陆边缘,主要为沉积岩和花岗岩的混合为特征.稀土元素标准化配分曲线呈轻稀土明显富集、重稀土平坦和弱Eu异常特征,沉积物源岩的原始物质应来自上地壳,以长英质岩石为主.结合区域地质特征,认为研究区基底新元古代变质岩及燕山期火山-侵入杂岩在断陷盆地形成、发展过程中提供了主要的碎屑物源.经过校正的化学蚀变指数(CIA)为70~76,反映了较低的古风化条件,进而指示了赣东北地区塘边组沉积时期(Campanian期)干旱、炎热的的古气候条件.
英文摘要	The Late Cretaceous Tangbian Formation in the Guixi area of Jiangxi Province is characterized by red-colored continental siliciclastic rocks. Major and minor element geochemistry of the 16 fine-grained sandstones and siltstones sampled along the Guixi section was analyzed to understand the provenance, tectonic setting, and paleoweathering. Both the major and minor element geochemical discrimination diagrams are suggestive of a dominant tectonic setting of passive continental margin. The results of the geochemical characteristics illustrate that the source rocks of the study area are mainly the mixture of the calcareous mudstones and granites. The REE patterns are characterized by LREE enrichment, flat HREE, and poor negative Eu- anomalies. Thus the sediments should be derived from the upper crust and dominated by felsic rocks. Considering regional geological settings, the Neoproterozoic metamorphic rocks and Yanshanian (Jurassic-Cretaceous) granites are inferred to have provided the dominant sediments to the fault basin. The corrected CIA values range from 70 to 76, reflecting low degree of palaeoweathering, which further indicates an arid and hot paleoclimate during the Campanian Stage when the Tangbian Formation was deposited in northeastern Jiangxi Province.
