中文摘要 | 本文采用NASA地球观测系统(EOS)的云与地球辐射能量系统(CERES)2003年至2007年CERESSSF Aqua MODIS Edition 2B/2C云资料,以新疆天山、阿尔泰山和昆仑山三大山区为主要研究对象,通过考察云水柱含量和粒子有效直径,对低层冰云云水资源时空分布特征进行了初步分析。结果表明,无论是冰云云水柱含量还是冰云粒子有效直径,多年平均的高值区集中在天山和昆仑山;盆地及其沙漠地区则是低值区,阿尔泰山处于高值区和低值区的过渡带上。新疆地区的低层冰云云水柱含量的多年平均值在(70~135) g/m~2之间,冰云粒子有效直径的多年平均值在37~48mum之间。三大山区附近城市的低层云冰云云水柱含量多年平均值较高,部分城市如伊宁、乌鲁木齐、塔城、博乐达(100~150) g/m~2。按季节来分析,三大山区多年平均的冰云云水柱含量夏季最高,冬季最低,春季和秋季较接近,而冰云粒子有效直径的季节变化各山区不相同。 |
英文摘要 | Xinjiang, covering an area of 1 664 900km~2, is located in an arid inland area in northwestern China. Compared with other regions at the same latitude, its multi-year average annual precipitation of about 100 mm tends to be lowest. The lack of water resources has restrained the development of society and economy. Artificial enhancing precipitation is considered an important way to complement traditional water resources exploration in recent years. Some studies on cloud water resources have been performed but ice clouds are rarely investigated due to the limitation of observations. Ice clouds play a significant role in the operation of artificial enhancing precipitation because the growth of ice cloud particles contributes more than 35% to precipitation. In this study, the main regions of interest are Tianshan, Kunlun and Altai mountain ranges with the surrounding nearby cities in Xinjiang. The cloud water resources of the lower layer ice clouds were studied by analyzing two parameters of ice water path and ice particle effective diameter and employing CERES SSF Aqua MODIS Edition 2B/2C data from Clouds and the Earth Radiation Energy System (CERES) of NASA’s Earth Observing System (EOS) from 2003 to 2007. Results show that in general, for the three mountain ranges, the high-value areas (low-value areas) of the water path correspond to the effective particle diameter high-value areas (low-value areas). The high value areas of the two parameters are generally located in the Tianshan and Kunlun mountains and low-value areas are located in the basins with deserts while the Altay mountains are located at the low-high-value ecotone. The multi-year average ice water path of the lower layer clouds across the whole Xinjiang area ranges from 70 to 135g/m~2 and the ice particle effective diameter ranges from 37 to 48mum. For all the three mountain ranges, ice water path reaches highest in summer, but lowest in winter, with the values in spring and autumn being similar. The seasonal variation in the ice cloud particle effective diameter for the Kunlun mountains is more significant than the Tianshan and Altai mountains. According to these results, cities close to those mountains, such as Yining, Urumqi, Tacheng, Bole, and Kashkar, have high values of ice water path which are all above 100g/m~2. Some places like Yining are even above 140g/m~2. Conducting artificial enhancing precipitation across the three mountain ranges and the nearby cities are therefore reasonable and feasible. |
