中文摘要	为了揭示腾格里沙漠沙层水分含量特点、水分来源和水分存在形式等问题, 2009年9月-10月对腾格里沙漠腹地及边缘地区进行了含水量研究. 研究结果表明, 沙漠腹地沙层含水量一般在2.0%~5.0%之间, 洼地或平坦地段含水量最高, 沙丘底部次之, 中部最低. 沙层水分主要以薄膜水的形式存在, 水分运移缓慢, 在洼地或平坦地段较深层有薄膜水向下入渗过程中转变而成的重力水和地下水出现. 沙漠沙层水分具有正平衡特点, 这主要是沙层水分入渗速度快和沙层受蒸发影响深度小决定的, 属于快速入渗型的水分正平衡. 沙漠沙层水分来源于大气降水, 洼地或平坦地段是大气降水向下入渗的主要渠道. 沙漠沙层水分含量存在空间地域差异, 沙漠腹地沙层水分低于沙漠边缘. 结合该区沙层水分的空间差异, 提出了沙漠治理的建议和措施, 比如在沙漠地下水较多的东南部等地区, 可以采取植树种草措施治理沙漠化, 还可以利用大棚措施发展种植业. 在沙漠地下水贫乏的地区, 应该采取粘土沙障、砾石沙障等工程措施和"麦草方格"等措施综合治理沙漠化
英文摘要	The authors in the present work examined the characteristics of content,sources,and forms of the moisture in sand layers of the Tengger Desert,the fourth largest desert in China.It is located in the southeast of the Alashan area and has 70%moving sand dune.Investigation of the moisture content in the hinterland and at the edge of the Tengger Desert were performed from September to October in year 2009.Results show that in general,the moisture content of sand layer ranges between 2.0%and 5.0%for the hinterland whereas the moisture content is highest for the depression or flat lots,followed by the bottom of sand dunes.The moisture content was found to be lowest in the middle of sand dunes.It is also found that the moisture exists primarily in the form of film water with a lower rate of moisture transportation,with showing moisture content frequently less than 5.0%.In fact,there appear bulk water and ground water,which are likely to be converted from film water in the process of film water infiltration,in the deep of the depression or flat lots.It is obvious that the output of the moisture in sand layers is less than input.In other words,the moisture in sand layers shows a characteristic of positive equilibrium,which can be classified as the type of positive equilibrium of rapid infiltration and is primarily determined by the rapid infiltration of moisture in sand layers and by a less effect of evaporation in sand layers.Sources of the moisture in sand layers were found to come from meteoric water,with showing the depression or flat lots being the major infiltration channels of atmospheric precipitation.Furthermore,there is a marked difference in the moisture in sand layers,with suggesting that the moisture content in sand layers at edges is essentially lower than that in hinterland.Combined with the regional differences in the moisture content in sand layers and experiences on desertification control at the edge of the Tengger Desert,some feasible suggestions are given for desertification control in the hinterland,e.g.,over southeastern areas where the groundwater is adequate,not only should trees and grass be planted,but also farming can be properly developed,areas short of groundwater,clay sand barriers,gravel sand barriers,and’straw box’engineering measures could be considered for desertification control.This study provides a basis for understanding the distribution of moisture in sand layers in the Tengger Desert and meaningful information which would be helpful for desertification control in the future
