生物结皮中齿肋赤藓叶片毛尖对植株含水量及水分散失的影响

中文摘要采用相对含水量、含水率、蒸散率、累积蒸散率等指标研究了古尔班通古特沙漠生物结皮中优势藓类齿肋赤藓(Syntrichia caninervis Mitt.)叶片毛尖对其离体植株含水量及水分散失的影响。结果表明:(1)虽然毛尖仅占植株重量的4.77%,但水合过程中毛尖内部及附属齿状芒刺均充分吸水,毛尖的存在使植株饱和水量增加了31.03%。 (2)脱水过程中有毛尖植株的含水率和相对含水量的下降速度明显慢于无毛尖植株,而完全脱水后二者(不计毛尖重量)实际含水量相等。 (3)脱水前期(第30 min之前)有毛尖植株的蒸散率小于无毛尖植株,且直至完全脱水前,20 min累积蒸散率都始终小于后者。实验表明,有毛尖植株的4个水分指标均比无毛尖植株延迟20 min达到恒定。研究结果在个体水平上证实了毛尖能有效提高和维持齿肋赤藓植株含水量并延缓水分散失速度。
英文摘要As the dominant components in biological soil crusts (BSCs)in desert ecosystems,desiccation-tolerant mosses play an important role in soil surface stability,fertility and ecological restoration.Crust-dwelling mosses must have developed special morphological and anatomical characteristics to cope with harsh desert conditions,however,their nature of which remains largely unknown.Previously,we found some special characteristics of morphological structure (such as the leaf outcurve or concave,papillose features,leave hair points (LHPs)and thick wall of marginal cells)were the long-term adaptation of the mosses to the desert environment.In this study,a dominant desert moss Syntrichia caninervis Mitt.,collected in the Gurbantunggut Desert of Xinjiang,was served as a target to investigate structural adaptability to drought stress,and further experiments on physiological functions of LHPs had been carried out.The relative water content (RWC),water content (WC),evaporation rate (ER),cumulative evaporation rate (CER)indices were used to analyze the effects of LHPs of S.caninervis on shoots water content and water loss.The results showed that although the weight of LHPs only reached 4.77% on shoot gross weight,the LHPs and appurtenant awns absorbed water sufficiently.The samples with LHPs was more than 31.03% saturated water content compared with those without LHPs.The WC and RWC of shoots with LHPs decreased slower than those without LHPs during dehydration,while both of them (except the mass of LHPs)had the same final water content when constantly dehydrated.The ER of plants with LHPs was much smaller than those without LHPs in early processes of dehydration (the first 30 minutes),and the CER of plants with LHPs was smaller than those without LHPs all the time until they were in constant dehydration state.Compared with shoots without LHPs,the four water indices (WR,RWC,ER,CER)of those with LHPs delayed 20 minutes to reach stable state (complete dehydration)in current study.Therefore,the LHPs of S.caninervis were capable of increasing and keeping water content,and can retard water loss effectively.The results mentioned above can be referred as theoretical basis for further revealing the relationships between the morphological structure of the desert mosses and the environment.
