中文摘要	阿拉善地区位于内蒙古最西部,地处干旱,极干旱荒漠地区.近几十年来,由于自然和人为因素的共同作用,境内生态环境急剧恶化,沙漠化问题十分突出.水资源是阿拉善地区生态环境改善与恢复的重要制约因素,也是促进该地区生态建设,支持区域可持续发展的必要条件.通过对阿拉善地区水资源利用现状及存在问题的分析,提出了保证阿拉善地区生态用水以促进生态系统良性循环,支撑经济社会可持续发展的水资源开发利用的具体对策建议
英文摘要	Situated in the most-west of Inner Mongolia, Alashan Region is an extreme arid desert area. Ecological environments in this area have deteriorated dramatically over the past decades because of the climate change and the anthropogenic impacts. Desertification has become a significant issue. Water resource shortage is a key factor that confines of ecological environment rehabilitation in such an arid region, and is a prerequisite for the area to conduct ecological environment protection and to support regional sustainable development. The study reviewed current problems or issues with water environment and identified the major issues that have caused the existing and future conflict between Alashan development and its water environment and infrastructure. Water management strategies were recommended in order to provide adequate ecological water requirement for positive cycle of ecological environment and sustainable social economic development
