中文摘要	绿洲是地球陆地上干旱区特有的一种生态地理景观.它是干旱区人类生产和生活的主要空间,也是干旱区生物界生栖、繁衍的主要场所.绿洲的稳定关系到干旱区人类的生存和社会经济的可持续发展,这在中国干旱区显得尤为重要和突出,因此,绿洲稳定性成为研究干旱区的热点问题.中国干旱区的茫茫荒漠盆地与皑皑积雪高山呈鲜明的对比,是纵横交错的内陆地区.绿洲寓于荒漠,并与荒漠共存,以供人类居住,而不断开发成为人类生活、生产的根本基地.在这里,人们失去绿洲,如鱼失水,难以长期维持生存和发展,过去如此,现在亦如此,将来也不会改变,这是由绿洲特殊的自然环境决定的.同时,绿洲一开始就处于恶劣、严酷的自然环境中,为荒漠所包围,随时受干旱、缺水、风沙和盐碱等侵害.自然条件一般短时期内不会改变.随着时间的推移,社会经济的快速发展,人口的不断增加,必将引起有限的绿洲土地与资源发生变化.历史的经验告诫人们,不加强绿洲土地与资源的保护,就会破坏干旱区自然生态地理环境的平衡,威胁干旱区社会经济的可持续发展
英文摘要	Oasis is a characteristic eco-geographical landscape in arid lands of the terrestrial of the earth, and it is also the mayor space for production and activity of people, and the main habitats of various species of arid lands. The oasis and its stability are tightly related to the live of human being and the sustainable social and economic development in arid land.In recent years, the stability of oasis in arid lands of China is especially concerned and is therefore, becoming one of the hot issues for research. Arid lands of China are located in inland and lie between vast desert basins and huge snow covered mountains. Surrounded by desert, oasis in arid lands of China co-exists with the desert where the natural environment is adverse. Here is also the area susceptible to drought, sand storm and soil saltification. Form a short-term point of view, the natural circumstance of oasis may not be changed. Hence, oasis is especially important to people living in the region.If the oasis disappeared, the people would lose their base for life. Rapid economic development and increasing population in the oasis will certainly exert enormous influences on its surrounding circumstance and change the conditions of limited arable land and resources. Historical experiences tell us that if we do not protect the lands and resources of oasis, the balance of natural eco-geographical environment in arid lands will be destroyed, and the regional social and economic sustainable development can not be achieved
