干旱区沙漠化逆转过程土壤水分的空间异质性特征

中文摘要土壤水分是干旱地区固沙植被生长发育的主要限制因素,是决定沙地生态系统结构和功能的关键因子.在腾格里沙漠南缘,应用空间代替时间的方法,选择流动沙丘以及封育恢复5 a,15 a和25 a的沙漠化逆转过程序列样地,研究了沙漠化逆转过程不同层次土壤水分的动态变化特征;采用地统计学原理与方法,分析了沙漠化逆转过程不同层次土壤水分的空间异质性.结果表明:干旱区沙漠化逆转过程中,土壤水分含量以初始阶段流动沙丘最大,之后逐渐降低,到封育恢复25 a后又出现恢复趋势,而且不同阶段样地及其不同层次土壤水分总体差异显著.不同逆转阶段样地各层土壤水分模型均为指数模型和球状模型,土壤水分呈现斑块状分布,具有明显的空间异质性,其中由自相关部分引起的空间异质性占总空间异质性的程度均高于50%.020 cm土壤水分总空间异质性程度随沙漠化逆转过程逐渐增强,而2040 cm和4060 cm土壤水分的总空间异质性程度随沙漠化逆转过程呈现先增强后减弱趋势.研究认为干旱区流动沙丘固沙植被的恢复首先降低土壤水分含量,增强了土壤水分的空间异质性,但伴随植被-土壤系统的恢复,封育恢复25 a后土壤水分含量出现增加趋势,空间异质性出现减弱趋势,土壤水分与植被间逐渐趋于平衡,该结论有助于进一步认识土壤水分与固沙植被相互作用的生态学机制
英文摘要Desert soils in an arid rain-fed environment have low and limited water contents which is the prime factor limiting the number and size of perennial plant species and the main constraint in permanently controlling desertification in arid areas. Spatial heterogeneity of soil water content is one of important properties of soil, and also the research issue of soil science and hydrology. At the south edge of Tengger Desert, with the method of substituting time with space, the shifting sand-dune, enclosure vegetation for 5 years,15 years and 25 years were selected as the restoration successive series in the reversion process of desertification, changes and spatial heterogeneity of soil water content of which were studied. The results showed that soil water contents of the preliminary stage shifting sand-dune were the highest in the reversion process of desertification, soil water contents at depth of 0-20 cm,20-40 cm and 40-60 cm were 1.769%,3.011% and 2.967% respectively. Afterward reduces gradually,it appeared restoring tendency after 25 years for enclosure, and there were significant difference among the different stages and the different soil layers respectively. Soil water content models of the different soil layers of the different stages were the exponential model or spherical models, the spatial distribution of soil water contents was mosaic patch pattern,so it had obvious spatial heterogeneity. The ratio of the heterogeneity of spatial autocorrelation to the gross spatial heterogeneity was higher than 50%, and the gross spatial heterogeneity of the 0-20 cm enhanced gradually, but those of the 20-40 cm and 40-60 cm enhanced initially and then weakened in the reversion process of desertification. The fractal dimension of soil water contents was different in different direction,it presented obvious anisotropic structure. The research revealed that soil water contents were reduced, and the spatial heterogeneity of soil water distribution in arid areas was increased by revegetation in the reversion process of desertification in arid areas. But soil water contents started to increased, and the spatial heterogeneity of soil water distribution started to be weakened from 25 years with restoration of vegetation-soil systems in the reversion process of desertification in arid areas. This finding could benefit the further understanding of the ecological mechanism of interaction between soil water and sand-binding vegetation
