亚洲干旱/半干旱区降水与大洋暖池气候的相关特征研究

中文摘要利用ERA-40再分析资料分析了亚洲干旱/半干旱区降水与大洋暖池气候的相关特征.结果表明:亚洲干旱/半干旱区剔除季节变化的水汽、降水与三个大洋暖池(WPWP、EIOWP和EP)区在南北纬10°之间区域水汽、海温都有非常显著的正相关关系.其中,干旱/半干旱区降水与东印度洋暖池海温的相关性最好,与西太平洋暖池海温的相关性次之,与El Nino1+2区的相关性较弱; El Nino区越靠近中太平洋,亚洲干旱区与El Nino区水汽的相关性就越强.亚洲干旱/半干旱区夏季的降水与 EIOWP1、WPWP1/2和EP三个大洋暖池四季的海温都有较好的相关性,亚洲干旱/半干旱区的降水对EIOWP1的海温变化响应最快(降水变化延后海温变化1-3月),对WPWP1/2区海温变化的响应最慢(延迟4个月).就季节尺度而言,在El Nino年冬季和La Nina年的夏季,亚洲干旱/半干旱区的降水都比常年偏多.近年来由于西风减弱和印度季风的增强,使得更多的印度季风区和东亚季风区水汽被输送到亚洲干旱/半干旱区,是干旱区上空水汽增加,降水增多的原因之一.
英文摘要Using the ERA-40 reanalyzed data, the characteristics of the correlation between the precipitation of Asian arid and semiarid regions and the ocean warm pool sea surface temperatures (SSTs) are investigated. The results show that the deseasonalized water vapor and precipitation in Asian arid and semiarid regions exhibit a distinct positive correlation with the deseasonalized SSTs and water vapor over the ocean warm pools. The correlation is most significant in the East Indian Ocean Warm Pool 1 (EIOWP1) and less significant in El Nino1+2, but the correlation with El Nino region become tighter when the El Nino region is closer to the centre Pacific region. The summer precipitation of the Asian arid and semiarid regions is well correlated with the ocean warm pool SSTs in all seasons. However, the winter and spring precipitation of the Asian arid and semiarid regions has a insignificant correlation with the ocean warm pool SSTs. The quickest response of the precipitation in the Asian arid and semiarid regions to the ocean warm pool SSTs is associated with EIOWP1 with a time lag of 1~3 months, and the slowest response corresponds to the west Pacific warm pool (WPWP) with a time lag of 4 months. The analysis also reveals that precipitation in the Asian arid and semiarid regions tends to increase during El Nino year winter and La Nina year summer. The changes in intensities of the Indian Monsoon, East Asian Monsoon, westerly and ENSO impact the water vapor change, to a large extent, over the Asia arid and semiarid regions, which are related with water vapor change over the ocean warm pool. It is found that the water vapor and precipitation in Asian arid and semiarid regions are increasing owing to the increasing Indian Monsoon index and decreasing westerlies in the recent years.
