中文摘要	四合木(Tetraena mongolica)为蒺藜科(Zygophyllaceae)强旱生落叶小灌木,是内蒙古西鄂尔多斯地区草原化荒漠植被的主要群种之一,被列为国家一级保护植物.就四合木的种子雨、种子萌发、幼苗生长及其适应性以及克隆分株特性与其种群更新的关系等方面进行了综述,并对四合木的种群更新与保护策略提出了若干建议.
英文摘要	Tetraena mongolica, a xerophytic deciduous shrub species of Zygophyllaceae in the west of Ordos Plateau of Inner Mongolia, is one of the important species of steppe desert vegetation and is listed among the plants of national protection of grade I. This paper reviews the progress of studies on the seed rain, seed germination, seedling growth, the characteristics of clonal ramets of T. mongolica and their relations to the population regeneration. Some suggestions are made on the population regeneration and protective strategies of this species.
