中文摘要	在转型初期,人们更多地关注经济增长和工业化、城市化的发展,容易忽视造成生态环境的破坏.城市化是新疆未来经济持续增长的主要潜力之一,是经济发展的必然选择.然而城市发展过程又常常伴随着资源与环境间生态平衡破坏后出现的一系列问题,如水资源缺乏、大气和水环境污染、生态退化、绿地减少等等.文中通过分析绿洲城市化对生态环境的影响,提出了新疆城市化进程中改善生态环境的具体措施.
英文摘要	Xinjiang is located in continental temperate zone. Its eco - environment is extremely fragility with arid climate and variable topography. At present, the economic development of Xinjiang is being in the period of transition. During the initial period of economic transition, we always neglect the degradation of eco - environment and pay more attention to the economical growth, the industrialization and the urbanization. Urbanization is one of the most important potentialities for economic development of Xinjiang in future. However, along with urbanization, there are a series of environmental problems, such as water resources scarcity, air pollution, ecological deterioration and green land decrease. This research analyzed eco -environmental characteristics of Xinjiang during the urbanization; some special countermeasures to improve the eco - environment were put forwarded in the urbanization of Xinjiang.
