中文摘要	塔里木马鹿(Cervus elaphus yarkandensis)是国家Ⅱ级保护动物,马鹿是众多亚种中分布于荒漠地区的特殊亚种之一.其分布范围十分狭小,仅分布于塔里木河中下游和车尔臣河下游地区.塔里木马鹿野生资源由于其栖息地的不断缩小和片段化,以及长期以来屡禁不止的乱捕滥杀现象而日趋减少.文中为了查明车尔臣河下域野生塔里木马鹿种群资源,2007年2月10日至20日,采用截线抽样法对塔里木马鹿种群进行了研究.在车尔臣河下游塔它让乡从大湖到阿克塔孜牧场,共计调查25条样线,其中10条截线中发现马鹿塔里木亚种17头,截线总长度100km.塔里木马鹿种群平均密度为0.10220.0351头/km~2,栖息地面积730.762km~2,马鹿总数为2675头,即49头至101头左右.同时根据塔里木马鹿目前面临的问题提出保护措施.
英文摘要	Tarim Red Deer(Cervus elaphus yarkandensis)is listed of protected animal in category Ⅱ of China,and the unique sub.sp.among deer in exhibiting adaptations to a desert environment.It is only distributed in the narrow ranges in middle and lower reaches of Tarim river and lower reaches of Charchen river.Because of the different kind of human activities in these regions greatly disturbed their lives and seriously devoured their habi-tats,the Tarim Red Deer wild population has significantly decreased.In this paper in order to investigate the current population size of the Tarim Red Deer in lower reaches of Charchen river,the line transect method was used to study the Tarim Red Deer population from 1 0 to 20,February,2007.In lower reaches of Cherchen river Aktaz grazing land 25 line transects ffere investigated,among them 10 lines total long of 100km were discovered red deer of 17 individuals.Average density was of 0.10220.0351ind/km~2.habitat area was of 730.762 km~2,population was of 49 to 101 individuals.At the same time the protection strategy was proposed according tothe problems that Tarim Red Deer faced at present.
