中文摘要	天山北坡绿洲城镇间无论经济发展水平，人口规模，还是自然条件等彼此之间存在很大差别，情况比较复杂。按照前人的城镇类型划分体系和类型划分原则，选用研究区内19个绿洲型城镇15年的统计数据，选取经济、人口、农业和工业等方面具有代表性的17个指标，运用聚类分析方法，对天山北坡的各绿洲城镇进行类型划分，并对其自然、经济和生态方面的特征进行分析，指出各类城镇的区域发展定位。
英文摘要	There is a great difference in economic development, population scales and environmental conditions in oasis cities and towns at the northern slope of Tianshan Mountains. The 17 representative targets about economy, population, agriculture and industry were selected from the statistical data of 19 Oasis cities and towns for 15 years. The classification of types was made by use of cluster analysis method, based on the principles and systems of classification of cities and towns drawn up by the predecessors. The characteristics of its nature, economy and ecology were analyzed and the development positioning of oasis cities and towns at the northern slope of Tianshan mountains was suggested.
