中文摘要	潮白河流域是北京市主要的供水源地之一,但是由于各种因素的影响,已经出现了沙化现象。了解潮白河流域沙化现状,研究其沙化成因对于科学地进行防沙治沙,从而改善北京市的生态环境具有重要意义。利用2007年4月的SPOT5卫星的多光谱和全色影像,结合植被覆盖度、土壤类型和土地利用类型这3种辅助数据,进行沙化信息提取。根据所提取的信息,分析潮白河流域沙化现状,研究不同的植被覆盖度和土地利用类型上的沙化情况,并探讨该区域沙化的成因。分析结果表明:植被覆盖度为30%~60%的沙化土地面积较大;绝大部分沙化土地为林地、草地和未利用地这3种土地利用类型;沙化是自然和人为双重作用下的结果。
英文摘要	Chaobaihe river basin is one of the main water sources in Beijing.At present,it shoulders the burden of serving Green Olympics.Desertification has occurred because of the influence of various factors.It is significant that the status quo and formation causes of desertification should be understood and researched to prevent and control desertification,and hence to improve the ecological environment in Beijing.In this paper,multi-spectral and panchromatic images of SPOT5 in April 2007 were selected,with three assistant data(vegetation coverage,soil type and land use),to extract the information of desertification.The status quo of desertification in Chaobaihe river basin was analyzed.The situations of desertification on different vegetation coverage and land use were studied.And then formation causes of desertification were discussed.The results showed that land with the vegetation coverage ranged from 30% to 60% possessed the major portion of desertification.Most of desertification was distributed on woodland,grassland and unutilized land.Desertification was the result of double effects of nature and human being.
