中文摘要 | 在控制条件下研究了三种藜科植物紫翅猪毛菜(Salsola affinis C.A.Mey.)、浆果猪毛菜(Salsola foliosa(L.)Schrad.)和钠猪毛菜(Salsola nitraria Pall.)种子的萌发特性以及萌发后的幼苗在室温中放置14天和30天之后重新放置在原溶液中的存活状况。结果表明:三种猪毛菜种子在无菌水、0.085mol/L、0.17mol/L、0.34mol/LNaCl溶液中萌发的很好,但是在0.51mol/L NaCl中萌发率很低,三种猪毛菜幼苗在干燥30天重新放置在原溶液中以后仍然具有很高的存活率。上述结果表明:已经萌发了的幼苗在干燥环境中仍然保持存活的能力是盐生植物为了适应极端干旱和盐渍荒漠环境的一个重要的生存策略。 |
英文摘要 | Seeds of three species of the Chenopodiacea family inhabiting the salinities of Gurbantunggut Desert in China, Salsola affinis C. A. Mey., Salsola foliosa (L.) Schrad. , and Salsola nitraria Pall., were tested for their seed germination and seedling survival after periods of desiccation. The seeds were tested for germination in distilled water as well as in solutions of up to 0.51mol/L NaCl, in light and darkness. The seeds germinated well in solutions of up to 0.34mol/L NaCl, but none germinated in 0.51mol/L NaCl solution. After wetting for 24 h, the germinating seedlings were transferred to the dry filter paper and desiccated in room conditions (20 to 25 ℃ and 15% to 20% R. H. ) for 14 or 30 days. Then, the seedlings were rewetted, each with its original solution. Seedlings that continued to grow after rewetting were counted as seedlings that had survived from desiccation. Three species were found to have seedlings with high percentages of desiccation tolerance, even after 30 days of desiccation, with the exception of Salsola nitraria Pall. which had low percentages of survival after desiccation. The capability of seedlings to germinate and survive in up to 0.34mol/L NaCl solution even after long periods of desiccation is an important survival strategy for species which inhabit in the saline deserts with unpredictable amount and distribution of precipitation. |
