中文摘要	在RS、GIS支持下。利用2004的TM遥感影像数据研究重庆市黔江区石漠化现状及形成原因。结果表明：黔江区7.21％的土地发生石漠化。其中轻度、中度、强度石漠化分别占总面积的3.06％、3.41％、0.74％，潜在石漠化占总面积的4.84％；石漠化的分布与地层、高程、坡度及土地利用等因素密切相关；石漠化的形成与发展是人类不合理的经济活动叠加于脆弱的生态地质环境背景上综合作用的结果。
英文摘要	Karst rocky desertification is a kind of land degradation which occurs in a fragile karst mountain ecosystem in southwest China. Supported by RS and GIS, the current state and formation of rocky desertification were analyzed in the Qianjiang county of Chongqing Municipality, southwest China. The results indicate that the total land deserted area covers 173.20km~2, or 7.21% of the total area, of which intensity rocky desertification covers 17.8km~2, middling rocky desertification covers 73.6km~2, and lower rocky desertification covers 81.8km~2 in the Qianjiang county. The potential rocky desertification covers 116.2km~2. There is a close relation between the distribution of rocky desertification and strata, elevation, slope, desertification is the results of the unreasonable human activities regions. The fragile eco-geological background is the internal unreasonable human activities are the most important factors for land use in the study area. The formation of rocky and the fragile eco-geological background in karst factor for karst rocky desertification, whereas the accelerating the rock desertification.
