中文摘要	依据国家林业局提出的评估生态建设状况的量化方法，结合内蒙古生态建设的现状，选取了森林、荒漠、水土流失、生物多样性、湿地、草原、农田、城市生态状况等8项指标来判断内蒙古的生态建设状况。在运用专家打分法和生态综合指数评价模型确定各指标权重和计算其生态综合指数的基础上，对自治区近54的生态建设状况进行了综合评价与分析。内蒙古生态综合指数经计算为1.05．表明自治区的生态建设形势和全国一样，处于生态治理与生态破坏的相持阶段，且其判断指标大多处于相持状态，有的已处于治理大于破坏阶段。
英文摘要	The present paper is aimed at introducing its evaluation and analysis of the ecological construction situations in Inner Mongolia by using its own indicator system. As is known, the ecological construction state evaluation not only reflects the basic change of the general trend of the ebb and flow between the ecological construction and ecological destruction during a period !n a country, but also it represents theoretical innovation and practice of the national ecological construction. Based on the quantitative annual statistics for the ecological status evaluation published by the State Forestry Administration and starting from the actual conditions of Inner Mongolia’s ecological construction, this paper has established an indicating system for the evaluation work. The system includes 8 aspects, that is, the present situations of the forestry, desert, soil erosion, biodiversity, wetland, grassland, crop-fields and urban ecological conditions. The paper has also adopted Delphi method and a mathematical model of the Comprehensive Ecological Index （CEI） to account the weight indexes and CEI of Inner Mongolia, and the ecological construction situations in Inner Mongolia in the last five years. The account has found that the CEI of Inner Mongolia is 1.05, showing that the ecological status of the region is on the whole similar to that of the whole country, which stays at a stalemate stage in ecological restoration and destruction, with some indexes being at the stage of restoration tendency stronger than destruction. Though the ecological construction situation in the region is not allowed to feel over-optimistic, heavy loads for the ecological construction should still be taken up painstakingly on the shoulders of its people and its governments at all levels.
