中文摘要	阐述了贵州喀斯特地区分布，石漠化现状、发展趋势及危害，从地质地貌、水文气候、植被覆盖以及土壤和土地利用等方面详细描述了贵州喀斯特自然环境特征，另外又从人口、社会经济和民族文化等方面描述了社会环境特征。在此基础上分析了它们在贵州喀斯特石漠化形成中的作用。得出结论：贵州喀斯特自然环境从各自侧面奠定了喀斯特石漠化形成的基础，在其上叠加了不合理的人类活动则加速了喀斯特石漠化的形成。最后又探讨了石漠化防治的主要对策。
英文摘要	The distribution of karst area of Guizhou, the current situation of rock desertification,development trend, and its danger,and karst natural environment characteristic of Guizhou are described in detail from geological ground and form, hydrology and climate, vegetation,and land use ect. as well as the social environment characteristic from such respects as population,society＇s economy and national culture,etc. Based on the above,their function is analysed in the rock desertification of karst area of Guizhou. The conclusion can be drawn：the karst natural environment has established the foundation of the forming of karst rock desertificationt from each side, but the unreasonable human activity superposing on them accelerates this progress. Finally,the main countermeasures of controlling karst rock desertificationt are explored.
