中文摘要	在建立吉林省西部环境质量评价指标体系的基础上,运用空间模糊综合评价方法,对研究区环境质量空间总体状况进行了综合评价,并深入研究和实践了区域环境质量评价中遇到的隶属度的空间化、权向量的确定等具体问题.评价结果显示,研究区环境质量总体处在中、差等级水平,空间上呈东西分布,环境恶化趋势从西南部逐渐向北部和东部蔓延.
英文摘要	The study area is located in a farming-pastoral ecotone where the ecology and environment are vulnerable in the western part of Jilin Province, China. The ecology and environment are seriously degenerated in recent years, especially the land desertification, soil salinization or alkalization and steppe degeneration become more and more serious. Based on developing the index system of ecological and environmental assessment for the west Jilin Province, in this paper the ecological and environmental quality in the study area is comprehensively assessed by using the methods of spatial fuzzy comprehensive assessment. Moreover, some concrete problems, such as the spatial expression of the subordinative degree and the confirmation of weight vectors in assessment of regional ecological and environmental quality, are researched. The results show that the ecological and environmental quality in the study area is moderate or poor, and the spatial distribution displays the eastern and western patterns. The results also reveal that the ecological and environmental quality deteriorates from the southwest to the northeast in the study area. After analyzing, the driving forces bringing about the ecological and environmental evolution can be concluded as follows：（1） The natural factors make the ecological and environmental quality be moderate or poor; （2） The ecological and environmental evolution is extremely slow and fluctuates hereabout the background value; （3） Artificial factors and land use affect jointly the ecological and environmental change in the study area; （4） The policy regulation including the policy of planned parenthood, implementation of scientific and technological measures, restriction and forbiddenness of pastoral activities in some regions, etc., plays an actively in improving the ecological and environmental quality.
