英文摘要	In this article, we discuss the evidence of perimortem violence and the spatial relationships of human osteological remains recovered from Funeral Structure 4, Sector I of the Punta de la Pena 9 site (Antofagasta de la Sierra, Catamarca, Argentina). This structure contained several individuals who were buried during the second half of the first millennium AD. It was reopened at least twice, which altered the mortuary patterns and disarticulated skeletal elements. The reopening of this tomb is related to the particular dynamics of the burial practices in Antofagasta de la Sierra. This study is especially noteworthy because it is the first multiple secondary burial identified in the area and shows the first evidence of intentional trauma and violent death. At least seven individuals of both sexes and different age ranges were buried in the tomb, four of whom present perimortem lesions in their skulls. This is direct evidence of interpersonal violence in the agropastoral societies of this period.
