英文摘要 | Salts widely distribute in cropland in extreme arid region and characterizing its distribution and spatiotemporal variability would provide both agronomic and environmental information. We investigated the spatial variation and temporal stability of soil salinity (0-40 cm) in field-scale mulched-drip-irrigation cotton field. Spatial behavior showed the salinity for 0-20 cm changed with more fluctuations than for 20-40 cm due to its sensitivity to irrigation and sunshine. Besides, the variability belonged to moderate variation with coefficients of 0.54-0.69. Temporal behavior showed the variability belonged to medium-to-strong variation over a cotton growing period with average coefficients of 0.66-0.85. Besides, the salinity for 20-30 cm during the growing period had the strongest stability due to the smallest rangeability of mean relative deviation of -0.68-0.90 and mean standard deviation of 0.40. Furthermore, based on the principles of near-zero and small SD, the stability of the soil-salt spatial patterns over time and along the soil profile allowed us to identify only 3 locations among 36 sampling points well-represented the field-average soil salinity for 0-10, 10-30 and 30-40 cm, respectively. At least non-strong spatial variation may be the foundation of the selection of locations with temporal stability. [GRAPHICS] |
