中文摘要	甘肃省于1994年进行了首次沙漠化土地普查,1999年进行了第二次荒漠化(沙漠化)土地监测.根据普查和监测结果,全省沙漠化土地(包括沙漠、戈壁)总面积约14万hm2,占全省总面积的31.1%,分布在全省7个市(州)的23个县(市、区),绝大部分分布在河西5市(占98.2%).沙漠化土地平均年递增率0.38%.
英文摘要	The first widespread desertification surveying in Gansu province was conducted in 1994, and the second in 1999. Monitoring result showed that the whole area of desertification land (including desert and Gobi desert) is about 14X104 hm2, occupying 31. 1% of whole area of Gansu province; desertification lands distribute in 24 counties of 8 cities, and the most in 5 cities of Hexi district ( occupying 98. 2% of the deser-tification land). The average expanding speed per year of desertification land is about 0. 38%.
