中文摘要	内蒙古赤峰市地处自然环境条件相对恶劣的半干旱地区，是国家林业局(原林业部)在西北地区重点扶持的两个林业生态环境建设典型之一。本文重点介绍了该地区的河谷川地农田林网和丘陵岗地草田林网模式，指出其在西部生态环境建设中的重要示范意义，并就西部地区林业建设的一些认识问题进行了探讨。
英文摘要	Chifeng city locates in semi - arid area in inner Mongolia and its natural environmental conditions are relatively bad. It is one of the two models of forest ecological environment construction which were stress supported by State Forestry Administration in west China. The farmland shelterbelt network mod?el in river valley and grassland shelterbelt network model in loess hill are specially introduced, which have the important example significance to ecological environmental construction in west China. In cur?rent state, there are three problem in the forestry construction. The first one is that the selected tree species is mainly the populus,and the other species is few. The second is that the forestry industry is not satisfied with the forestry construction,and this hampered the benefit exertion of forestry economiy. The last is that the shrub resources were not arose recognition, so the species in the forestry construction mainly is wood trees. In the meanwhile,according to the Chifeng’s practice of forest construction,some issues on how to carry out forestry construction in western regions are discussed in this paper.
