中文摘要	在对宁夏红寺堡新灌区综合考察的基础上，通过对该区自然条件和社会环境的全面分析，论述了绿洲防护体系建设的理论依据，即风沙物理学原理、系统论原理、生态位原理、物种多样性原理和景观生态学原理，提出了建设红寺堡新灌区防护体系的具体方法：首先，在绿洲外围营造宽阔的封沙育草带；其次，在绿洲边缘营造固沙林带和阻沙林带；第三，在绿洲内部营造窄林带，小网格的护田林网；第四，有计划地营造薪炭林饲料林，提倡四旁植树，绿化居民点，最后，总结了建设防护体系时所面临的问题，即模式选择、树种选择和管理规划等问题。
英文摘要	Based on a thorough investigation of Hongsipu is a newly-built irrigating area in Ningxia, also with the analysis of comprehensive natural and social conditions, the theoretical foundation of establishing oasis defensive system was summarized, such as principles of the physics relating to wind transported sand, systematic theory,niche law, biodiversity principle and theory of landscape ecology. The methods of setting up protective networks are put forward, that is, firstly, cultivating wide grass (shrub) belt in the oasis periphery to fix the drift sand; secondly, setting up forest belt to defend wind and drift sand on the oasis border; thirdly, planting farmland strip to protect cropland according to the model of "narrow forest belt, little grid"; fourthly, establishing fuel-plantation shrub and fodder plant, and cultivating trees around houses and along ditches.
