英文摘要	Taking for example the regional geological surveys of the 1:250000 Jiuquan Sheet and Changma Sheet in the western segment of the Qilian Mountains, the authors discuss the content and methods of e-co-environmental survey and research carried out using the remote sensing approach in similar cold and arid areas in China and look forward to the future survey. This study provides a case study for the eco-environmental survey and research in the new-round 1:250000 regional geological survey.
