中文摘要	兰新铁路西段为我国砾漠地区铁路风沙害最为严重的地段，虽地表无明显积沙，但风沙对铁路行车安全及线路维护依然造成很大危害。通过对典型地段铁路风沙害的分布、地质地貌条件、风沙状况、砂粒来源、危害调查和现场试验分析，确认沙源来自于当地，暴雨形成洪水携带的细颗粒物质成为沙源的重要补充。依据试验资料，文中对戈壁风沙流中砂粒的空间分布特征做了较为详细的阐述，总结出了当地输沙率经验公式，可对风沙的防护提供定性定量的依据。当地工务部门多年来采取了工程防护措施，经对防护效果进行量测分析、比较后，对其发挥的效能做出了结论，认为多年采用的轨枕栅栏形式结构、网络结构、本体保护，可作为防治戈壁砾漠地段铁路沙害的主要措施手段。经过现场试验、分析，总结出防治戈壁风沙流的综合结构，有效地扼制了风沙危害，确保了运输安全。
英文摘要	Drifting sand induced railway hazard is found at the west part of Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway located in gravel desert area, endangering the safety of the railway and bringing difficulties for railway maintenance. Analysis on hazard distribution, geological features, size and other characters of the sand illustrates that the sand comes from the fine particles carried by storm induced floods. The spatial distribution of the particles of drifting sand has been presented in detail based on experiments, the empirical formula of sand movement speed has been proposed which is an important quantitative base for railway hazard prevention. Many countermeasures have been taken for years by local railway administrative agency, among which several have been chosen as the main means to deal with the railway hazard in Gobi gravel desert after comparing the effects of these measures. A comprehensive countermeasure to prevent drifting sand hazard in Gobi gravel desert has been proposed after in-situ experiment and analysis, with which drifting sand induced hazard has been effectively controlled.
