中文摘要	以新疆石油物探的历史阶段和前景展望为主要思路，用翔实的资料综合回顾了50年来新疆石油物探事业从零起步，达到今日辉煌的历程，叙述了新疆石油物探50年的主要成果，石油物探技术与装备的发展，并指出了准噶尔盆地石油物探工作需要解决的重要领域和今后石油物探工作努力的方向。
英文摘要	The petroleum geophysical research started around 1905-1907, and the comprehensive research from 1951. A major change has taken place from simple electrical, gravitational and magnetic exploration, to man-made seismic exploration and construction through light-spot seismometer and data interpretation by man-made dot drawing method, to present SN389HR and SYSTEM-II type 1500-channel digital remote surveying seismometer construction and large computer data treatment. The collection of field data from seismic exploration and treatment of indoor data have thus entered a new stage. The presently furnished field equipments are capable of conducting seismic construction under any desert environment. Up to the end of 1999 for abouth 50 years of petroleum exploration Xinjiang Petroleum Authority has found 25 oil-gas fields with proved oil area of 1480.3 km~2 and geological oil reserve of 1.73021 * 10~(10)t, and with proved gas area of 167.1 km~2 and geological gas reserve of 8.6881 * 10~(10). The petroleum geophysical exploration has mad a great contribution to the petroleum industry of Xinjiang.
