中文摘要	隐西旱农区水资源严重匮乏，年降水量偏少，季节分布不均，年际变率大，干旱灾害频繁，且持续时间长，水资源短缺已成为制约豫西旱农区农业可持续发展的关键因素。要改善豫西旱农区缺水等不利的自然条件，就必须在探明其水资源面临问题的基础上，探索旱作农业抗旱节水的有效途径，笔者认为，选用耐旱作物和抗旱品种；广泛采用各种抗旱节水农艺措施，大力推广降水集存技术，节水灌溉及化学抑蒸技术，才能有效地提高水资源的利用率和利用效率，保证豫西旱农区农业的可持续发展。
英文摘要	Water resources were heavily insufficient , annual precipitation was few and unbalanced in different seasons , annual gradient has larger change and drought frequently appears and lasts for a long time in westem Henan.The insufBciency of water resources was a major fector that constrainted the sustainable development of agriculture in arid planting areas. To improve the problem of drought .water shortage and unfavourable condition,it is necessary that investigate effective measures of drought - resistant and water- saving to present water resource situation:applying suitable crops and cultivars.and agronomic measures of drought- resistant;popularizing techniques of rainwater harvesting , water- saving irrigation and chemical evaporation - restrained ; raising water utilization efficiency; ensuring the sustainable development of agriculture in arid planting areas in westem Henan.
