英文摘要	Recent studies in the upland forests of the semi-arid region of Brazil revealed a distinct new puffball species, which is described as Morganella nuda in the present paper. The new species is characterized by small, non-umbonate basidiomata, each with a granulose exoperidium that is cast off completely when mature. The exposed, smooth endoperidium, has a simple pore and strongly echinulate basidiospores (5.5-7.5 mu m). Further taxonomical details, along with photographs and line drawings are provided.
