英文摘要	Taxonomic studies on Brazilian semi-arid collections of earthstars revealed the occurrence of three species: Geastrum floriforme (first record for Brazil), Geastrum violaceum (new for the tropical region) and Geastrum xerophilum (second record for the Neotropics). Detailed basidiomata descriptions with taxonomic remarks, photos and drawings of macro- and micro-morphological data are given.
