Vegetation plays an important role in the ecological environment and noise has effect on vegetation patterns. As a result, we give numerical evidences of a transition from spotted pattern to stripe growth induced by noise in a spatial vegetation model. Moreover, we show the density of the spatial pattern with respect to noise intensity and temporal correlation. The obtained results show that noise exerts a tremendous influence in the pattern formation of the vegetation model, which may provide guidance to protect the vegetation from desertification.
