英文摘要

Surveys of spiders were clone in different silvipasture systems of Indian desert. There were 24 genera of spiders belonging to 9 families. The representatives of Gnaphosidae family exhibited maximum (14) genera diversity. This family showed highest (50 %) composition. Lycosa sp. indicated highest diversity index (0.31). The relative tree effects (RTEs) on the population of different genera of spiders were all negative indicating positive responses to the presence of trees. Thus the interaction between spiders and trees proved beneficial and may be helpful for conservation of soil fauna in desert.
