A method for the determination of dinotefur, thiamethoxam, clothiandin, imidacloprid, acetamiprid and thiacloprid in tea samples was introduced. The recoveries were between 80.1% - 106.1% and the relative standard deviations were less than 9.7% at the spiked levels of 0. 02, 0. 04 and 0. 2 mg/kg. The limits of quantitation were 0. 02 mg/kg The method is simple, rapid, and accurate, and its performance can meet the requirements of the domestic and international legislation. The method adapts to confirm residues of neonicotinoid pesticides in tea samples.
