Wadi Millaha area is located in the North Eastern Desert of Egypt. It has been systematically surveyed using airborne gamma-ray spectrometric and magnetic methods. In the present study, the identification of both uranium and thorium anomalies has been mainly based on examining a set of composite spectrometric profiles over eight radiometric anomalies. The studies revealed the presence of two high radiometric anomalies while the rest are moderate to weak ones. The fault systems in the area under study play an important role in the distribution of most of the identified radioactive anomalies. Two sets oriented ENE to NE and NNW proved to have a significant effect on of the majority of these radiometric anomalies. The structural interpretation of aeromagnetic data of the area under consideration was delineated. Moreover the qualitative interpretation for the magnetic anomalies about the main structural and lithologic manifestation is accomplished. Filtering of the anomalies was done to assist in discriminating shallow and deep ones. Application of trend analysis for aeromagnetic and aeroradiometric data could show the dominant subsurface structures in the N-S trend, while that of the surfaces is in the NW-SE trend.
