Fifty species were collected from three raudhas around the Riyadh area (Kharj, Khuraim and Binban), in Central Saudi Arabia. They were analyzed to determine in-vitro total digestible nutrients, nutritive values, gross and net energy, and nutritional ratio, in order to evaluate their usage as forage in this region. The evaluated plants have a good quality as forage with respect to net energy estimate while they show a poor and fair quality for digestible proteins and nutritional ratio. N, P and K show a relatively low content while Ca has a relatively high content, and Na has a moderate contents.
