英文摘要	A scheme of the zoogeographical subdivision of North Africa based on the cluster analysis of the distribution of rodents (62 species) is given. The maps of zonal types of landscapes, that of the distribution of collection sites and the parameters of faunal diversity calculated basing on 1 degrees x1 degrees grid were used in this analysis. The southern borderline of the Sahara - Gobian desert region is defined more exactly. The Coastal North-African subregion is outlined within the region for the first time.
