英文摘要	Five geological samples from the area of Abu Tartur phosphate deposits, Western Desert of Egypt, were analyzed quantitatively using the neutron activation analysis technique. Potasium, uranium and thorium were identified and their concentrations were estimated. The dose rates due to these radioactive elements were deduced. The present data were compared with some igneous and sedimentary rocks.
